  • Optional Info: You can subscribe to our newsletter for updates on new art, courses, and products.

  • Usage Info: For courses we track things like course progression and quiz results.

  • Account Info: When you create an account, we collect your name, email, and password.

  • Cookies: We use cookies to keep the site experience smooth and for basic insights on web traffic, but we won’t track your every move or sell your data.

  • Tracking Technologies: In addition to the information you voluntarily provide, we use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies (like the Facebook/Meta Pixel) to track user behaviour and gather data for analytics and advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Order Processing: We use your details to fulfil your order—no surprises there.

  • Improvement & Analytics: We analyse traffic patterns and site usage to see what’s popular on the site and to make the website better.

  • Marketing & Ads: We use tracking technologies like the Facebook/Meta Pixel to help us understand how our ads perform. We may also use them for retargeting ads. For example, if you visit certain product pages, you may later see ads for those products on social media. (Author’s note: I rarely, if ever, use retargeting ads, and I always “frequency cap” my regular ads, so you won’t see them particularly often.)

3. Third-Party Services

We work with Printful for order fulfillment and use Squarespace and PayPal as payment processors for transactions. These services handle your data in line with their own policies. We don’t share your personal data with anyone else unless required by law.

4. Data Security

We keep your data safe and use encryption wherever possible (especially during transactions and the likes). Your personal info stays with us—we don’t sell it.

5. Your Rights

  • Access & Deletion: You can ask us to delete your account or any personal info we’ve stored.

  • Opt-Out: Don’t want to hear from us anymore? You can opt-out of newsletters at any time.

  • Targeted Ads: You can manage or disable certain tracking technologies (such as cookies) in your browser settings. You can also opt-out of targeted advertising by using tools like the Facebook Ad Preferences and other similar services like Your Online Choices.
